CollegeSpring gives schools and teachers the curriculum, training, and data to help their students boost their SAT scores and their test confidence. A higher SAT or ACT score can open doors to more-selective universities with better financial aid, stronger social support, and higher graduation rates. Students achieve a 104 point average SAT increase and are 48% more likely to go to college.
CollegeSpring targets students from populations that are historically underrepresented in higher education, including students from low-income backgrounds, people of color, first-generation college students, and English Language Learners.
“So much of the support and guidance PropelNext provides really impacts the entire organization because I’m able to use our learnings to make larger decisions or changes…The Bay Area is a nice petri dish to help us understand how the program plays out on the ground, but the impact is very far-reaching.”
– Yoon Choi, CEO
In addition to its work in the Bay Area, CollegeSpring serves youth in Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY.
PropelNext is helping CollegeSpring ask the right guiding questions to redefine its target population to better identify partners and deepen impact. For CollegeSpring, deepening impact means being more intentional about partnering with schools and working with teachers who deliver the curriculum.
